Small Steps....

Life seems to always be crazy! Working three days a week and then trying to keep my head afloat at home the other days I'm home is sometimes hard. A while back I made this dry erase meal planner. I "try" to plan our meals a week in advance so there isn't any last minute digging, trying to throw something together. Another advantage is that my husband works with in walking distance from our house and comes home everyday at lunch to let the dog out, so if it's a day I'm at work and forgot to pull something out he can just check the board and pull something out. I'm hoping these small steps will make life much easier!

Sketchapalooza 3

Sketchapalooza 3 just wrapped up over at Feeling Scrappy and I thought I would share some of my layouts. I LOVE the sketch classes over there, they inspire me so much. Thanks to all the wonderful design team members for doing another fantastic job!

This is one of my all time favorite pictures of my oldest son, I've had it in my picture stash forever. I've never found the right paper that really showcased the photo like I wanted. I found this paper and fell in love with it, it has two of my favorite colors, green and brown. I used some lyrics from Rascal Flats song My Wish for journaling. The page is clean and simple with just enough embellishments to let the picture shine!

Making Papa Proud

Having boys sometimes makes scrapbooking a challenge, I don't want the pages to seem too girlie but sometimes I want to use that flower-y paper and some flowers on a page. I found some paper recently that lets me do just that without being too girlie. This is the latest layout I finished for Feeling Scrappy's Sketchapalooza 3.

Zoo

One of our favorite places to go is the zoo, so much so I have a seperate folder just to save zoo pictures to. Here is a layout from a trip last spring. Aiden had so much fun in the praire dog tunnel.

Cards Galore!

I finally have my card collection stock piled. I'm hoping there isn't anymore more last minute card making before running out the door to my next event.

Love Notes

A Valentine's Day card for my husband. It opens up to reveal I (heart) U. The flap then lifts up and there is a pad of sticky notes underneath.
